Special Town Meeting - June 21, 2011
Article 1. James Foss made the motion for Tammy Bonner to be moderator. Jackie Jones seconded the motion. Three written ballots cast all for Tammy Bonner.
Tammy Bonner was sworn in as moderator of the meeting by deputy clerk, Ardis Brown.
Article 2. Michael McVicker made the motion to have the Town of Weston support the East Grand Watershed Initiative, by endorsing public funding with the Forest Legacy program and continued Town involvement in the project, that will include conservation of working forest and natural resources, traditional public access and shoreline and back lot development. Jesse Drysdale seconded the motion.
Written ballot vote: 55 ballots cast: 23 yes and 32 no
Motion defeated.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm.
